18th of Oct. is the opening day of Chinese Chemistry Research Institute. In the comfortable autumn weather, 50 students of senior grade two visited the chemistry institute with Mr Ma as their leader. The institute is a comprehensive one with a collection of academic authorities in domestic chemistry. The theme of the opening day is “chemistry makes beautiful life.” With curiousness and learning desire, we “walk up to chemistry and chemist, walk up to chemistry institute”

Entering into the chemistry institute, I was attracted deeply by the phenomena. The staff working in the institute is completely different from what we think—serious and precise, on the contrary, they lead us enter into the chemistry world with big smile on their face, the following visiting broadened our views, many accurate apparatus, interesting experiments attracted us deeply, we can not help stopping to watch, there is heart-shake in every one. Students asked many questions of their own, the chemist explained in easy—understanding words with patience. During the process of our visiting, some researchers were still doing experiment carefully, such careful working spirit and learning attitude touched us deeply.  

We got much knowledge through the visiting. Chemistry institute is not a mysterious forbidden area anymore in our eye, it is not a place full of bottles and jars with colorful liquid medicine, but a holy land of agglomerating scientific power, creating scientific miracle.

In the activity which theme is “developing scientific spirit, popularizing scientific knowledge, displaying chemistry institute” through serial scientific report, scientific demonstration, laboratory visiting, and enterprise achievements show, we learnt many chemistry knowledge about macromolecule science, structure chemistry, Nami technology, chemical-biology, and some other knowledge, knowing the latest achievements of chemistry , feeling a deep atmosphere of scientific research.

The visiting took us to the supernatural chemistry world, we clearly understood the importance of chemistry in creating beautiful life in the future.

The distance between science and us is much closer.
