On 14th of Jun. the denominating ceremony of Beijing Golden Roc Group was celebrated by Beijing Education Committee with Beijing Students Activity Administration, Chaoyang District Education Committee in cooperation. Zhongguancun Middle School and other 28 organizations were confirmed as branches of Beijing Golden Roc Group, the confirmation was made by Beijing Education Committee after its new investigation, a nameplate was issued to Zhongguancun Middle School

Relying on advantages of Beijing Golden Roc Group, Zhongguancun Middle School got fruitful results in all kinds of scientific activities—astronomic activity, OM, aero-modeling activity. From the year of 2000, 300 awards were got in civic upward contest, the Golden Cup in the 25th OM was won, Liufang and other two students gained 3 Golden Sail Medals in 2005. Beijing Model School of Science Education, Haidian Science Education Base, Haidian OM, Astronomy, Architecture Model Base, Experimental Base of National Scientific Education were all given to the school for its fruitful achievements.

Through inspiration of abundant scientific education, students’ creative interests are preserved, scientific spirits of knowledge respect and fact acceptability as well as innovation to the unknowns are cultivated. Furthermore, a solid foundation is settled for students’ healthy growth and further scientific exploration, thus their great ideals and noble sentiments can be fostered while their comprehensive qualities are raised too.

Wish Golden Roc Group of our school continue to try hard, combine the activities outside and inside school together, implement scientific activities better, , let the scientific spirit, scientific sentiment, scientific attitude and scientific method accompanied with students through their life time, let the scientific Golden Roc fly high in the sky.
